Good product, was very excited to get it, definitely needs instructions, I’ve been looking up how to use it on YouTube but still don’t really know how to use it, which is disappointing after paying all that money for it.

  Hi Stacey, Yes I agree, could do with instructions. Have a look at this SIP video of cast lathe in operation…they use a smaller lathe chuck in part of it. It will show you the basic ways you can use. Happy woodworking, MTS Direct

Worked flawlessly from the box and really well packedUnfortunately the tool rest broke the next day probably due to a manufacturing defect so I sent them an email. I am a complete newby to welding and had been shopping around feeling a little hesitant about getting an entry level machine. I got talking to Gavin at MTS and he was extremely helpful and keen to get me started. The machine and the safety gear he recommended were excellent, easy to use and affordable. Having made a start I rang Gavin for a few more starter tips and he was only too happy to oblige.
