I bought this as an upgrade from an old, cheap and underpowered machine which I had been struggling with. This grinder is well made, nice cast iron base, decent wheel guards which are easy to remove and refit. It has plenty of power for my needs but, and this is a big but, it is let down by the flimsy tool rests which are fitted, which really are not fit for purpose on a machine like this. Such a shame.
